Progressive Diagnosis

A comprehensive driving evaluation is recommended following the identification of any progressive diagnosis that will likely impact driving skills. We will gather a baseline measurement of your present driving skills and make a plan to reduce your risks while working to maintain your driving freedom as long as possible.

Outcomes may include training for increased defensive driving practices, identification of routes/times of day that decrease risk, speed limits that better match your speed of processing/reactions, discussing and trialing adaptive equipment that may support improved vehicle control, and recommendations and resources for planning and deciding when it’s time for driving retirement.

  • Mild Cognitive Impairment, Dementia, or Alzheimer’s.

  • Neuro-muscular conditions: Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, MS, MD, ALS, Neuropathy, Etc.
